Merry Christmas Blogville!

Christmas is finally here! Merry Christmas everyone :)!

Hopefully all the vacationers heading outta town have left and the roads will finally be free n'all.
May this season bring all you hoped for and more.
I know what I want for Christmas and I'm still very hopeful o! Christmas aint over till I win *smiles*
My Grand-aunty is of the opinion that the smell of new paint is part of the celebration. Lol! Do you agree?
This year we are hosting some family members so that means plenty cooking and washing plates merriment and rejoicing.. You are invited :)

My First Post :D!

The New Year is upon us and this is my first post in it :)!  The holiday was great and a much needed diversion but my youngest brother has a different opinion especially since this holiday came with the burden of chores that go hand in hand with the pleasure and excitement of a Full House.

So today, the eve of school resumption, i attended my first ever bloggers event organised by Neks2u.com and Blush with my friend who blogs @ http://thegenevareport.blogspot.com/ and the event was totally awesome!

One lesson i learnt today  from Ms Bee, my newest 'soon-to-be-blogger' friend who i met at the event was Always be bold and say out loud what so ever you desire, irrespective of all the doubting thomases around you.

There was a lucky dip at the event and from the onset she kept telling me and everyone else  how she was going to win. She was so sure of it that she told me what she was going to do after she won it. And guess what? she won but was gracious enough to share some of the goodies with her  number one doubting thomas, Me :)!


So I'm going to be bold and assertive like Ms Bee :) and eagerly await and receive all the goodies 2012 holds in store.

long time no blog...

So much has happened since my last update o! I did some volunteer work teaching primary school kids, attended a leadership and performance academy, celebrated my 'big' bday party and most importantly resumed school for the second lap. Don't even know where to start cos so much has happened; too many events attended and so many new acquaintances. I've also learn't to trust God more than ever before.
 School is great! Although I'm still getting accustomed to my classes and busy schedule. A part of me longs to go back home and probably do my NYSC instead.. miss my family *sobs* but its all part of growing up right??! So right now I'm learning to be content and enjoy everyday :)!
